We are happy to share that we are operating with a client choice model, empowering clients to select the food items they want and will use while supporting dignity, choice, and reduced food waste.
We will now be open on Mondays (1:30pm-3:30pm) for clients 65+, people with disabilities, and walk-up clients. We will still continue to operate on Tuesdays (10:00am-1:00pm) for clients arriving by car.
How we operate?
We have partnered with the Northern Illinois Food Bank and other local food suppliers, businesses, and churches to provide fresh meat, dairy, produce, and dry good to the community on a weekly basis. During their visit, clients also receive access to other basic items and resources on additional services in the community.
There are no restrictions to who can receive this services as we provide this service at no cost to the community and do not require an ID or proof of income.
