 Spanish Community Center 2010 Fairy God Mother Prom Show March 14, 2010
Brought To You By Exelon Corporation - Hamilton& Antosen, Ltd. Five Ways to Help (Click on the packet(s) for additional information) 1. Individual Donor Packet: Donate prom and special occasion dresses, shoes, and accessories for students who can not financially afford to go to their high school prom. All donated prom items will be given away free of charge to needy students. We are also in need of dress racks, hanges, partition walls for dressing rooms, long mirrors, shopping bags, and large storage bags and plastic boxes for the prom dresses. 2. Business/Community Partner Packet: Area employers, club and organizations, church groups, etc. willing to solicit donations of prom dresses and related items from its employers and/or customers. Partners can also elect to be drop off sites and recruit volunteers. No monetary donation is required. 3. Business/Individual Sponsor Packet: Make a monetary donation to help underwrite the costs of this project. Sponsorship opportunities range from $10.00 to $1,000.00. Sponsors enable us to keep the prom show free to attendees. 4. Vendor Packet: If your business sells prom related products or services, become a vendor at the 2010 Fairy Godmother Prom Show. We will advertise the prom show for both females and males. The vendor fee is only $100.00. 5. Volunteer Packet: Assistance is needed in helping young ladies select the perfect prom dresses. Everyone would love to have a Fairy Godmother. Now is your chance to be a Fairy Godmother. The Spanish Community Center Is seeking prom and special occasion dresses, shoes , and accessories for students who can not afford to go to their high school prom. Students from all Will County High Schools can participate. These Cinderellas can only dream. Please make their dreams come true. Donate items as an Individual or recruit your employer, club or organization, church group, etc. To become a Business/Community Partner in collecting prom dresses.. Drop off your prom dresses and related items at the Spanish Community Center , 309, N. Eastern Ave., in Joliet. Additional drop off sites may be found on our website, www. spanishcenter.org. You can also call the Center at 815- 727-3683 to request drop off sites. Forms will be available at selective locations to acknowledge receipt of donations for individuals needing a letter for income tax purposes.. The Fairy Godmother Prom Dresses Committee is also requesting party purses, jewelry, wraps, or shawls, and unopened hosiery and make-up. Volunteers are also needed to assist needy cinderellas in selecting the perfect dress and accessories. To become a volunteer visit our website or call the center. . The Spanish Community Center will also be hosting a Fairy Godmother Prom Show at Joliet Junior College's Renaissance Center on March 14, 2010 from 12:00 to 4:30 p.m. If your business sells prom products or services and your business would like to be a vendor at the 2010 Fairy Godmother Prom Show, please contact the Center by Phone or visit our website for a Vendor Packet.
